Mitchell Sports 498 Casting Saltwater Spinning Reel One large vintage 498 saltwater reel with original box, paperwork, and parts. This is a European distributed reel that was not sold into the USA. The casting spool version is rare. This reel is in excellent condition, works like new. It shows no mounting marks but there is substantial wear to the raised gold lettering, and some surface rubs on the drag knob.
